Low-voltage wiring is the cabling that moves data, sound and video, plus the small amounts of power that cameras and intercoms need, instead of full household current. Think Ethernet, speaker runs, cameras, door intercoms and access control. It is installed differently from line-voltage wiring and is usually run before the walls are closed. See our low-voltage wiring page.
